SPF Checker
Read an SPF policy and inspect basic syntax and sender fallback.
SPF is a static policy check: nested includes and the recursive 10-lookup limit are not evaluated.
When to use this spf checker
Inspect a published SPF TXT policy when setting up an email sender or troubleshooting SPF configuration. This is static record inspection, not a message authentication test.
What to look for
- Check whether the hostname publishes one SPF policy or multiple competing policies.
- Read the fallback mechanism and compare authorized senders with your provider documentation.
- Investigate includes and redirects separately; the visible lookup count is not a recursive evaluation.
How to read the results
Static inspection only. Nested includes, redirects and the recursive 10-DNS-lookup limit are NOT evaluated. A passing syntax result does not validate a sender or message.
PASS marks a stated check that passed. WARNING deserves review. FAIL marks a failed check. INFORMATION reports a fact. Results are a snapshot from our server, not a score or certification.
Does an SPF PASS here mean my emails will pass SPF?
No. A message result depends on the sending IP and the envelope sender or HELO identity. This checker does not expand nested records or evaluate a real message.
Download your results as Markdown to save the observations or discuss them with your AI assistant. Reports include the check timestamp and limitations.
