SSL Certificate Checker
Check certificate trust, hostname, issuer and expiration on port 443.
When to use this ssl certificate checker
Check an SSL/TLS certificate when browsers show certificate warnings, renewal is approaching or a domain points to a new host. The entered hostname is inspected on port 443.
What to look for
- Check certificate trust and whether its names match the entered hostname.
- Read the expiration date and confirm that automatic renewal is configured at your host.
- Check other affected hostnames separately; www and the bare domain may serve different certificates.
How to read the results
Inspects the entered hostname, not a redirect destination. Revocation and every possible certificate chain are not tested.
PASS marks a stated check that passed. WARNING deserves review. FAIL marks a failed check. INFORMATION reports a fact. Results are a snapshot from our server, not a score or certification.
Will the SSL checker renew my certificate?
No. It reports the certificate served now. Renew or replace it through your hosting provider or certificate automation, then recheck. Revocation and every possible chain are not tested.
